Rajshree Medical Institute, Bareilly, U.P. – Sewage treatment, recycle and rainwater harvesting

Rajshree Medical Institute is located in Bareilly, U.P. and houses a population of over 800 students along with a hospital facility on campus. The campus does not have a sewer line connection to carry the waste out to a treatment facility.

Project:

To build a sewage treatment plant for the premises including waste from the hospital facility.

Impact:

The treatment plant lead to the replacement of existing soak pits which was a health hazard for students and faculty on campus. The treated water is reused for horticulture and washing purposes.
